Groups the catalogue can actually fill. An axis with a thin roster stays a filter on the pornstar list and does not get a page of its own. Counts are live.

White

2195 pornstars

The bulk of the roster, and it splits in two by geography. The American side is built on performers who shoot across studios for years, Cameron Kincade and Pierce Paris at the top of it. The Czech side comes almost entirely off RawEuro, where the cast rotates fast and most names carry a handful of credits rather than a career.

Black

168 pornstars

Small and top-heavy. Dillon Diaz has more credits here than the next five men combined, and almost everyone else in the group sits at under ten scenes. Nearly all of it is American, shot for Man Up Films and Club Bang Boys.

Latino

362 pornstars

Nineteen men, and Draven Navarro is most of the scene count on his own. The rest is thin: single-digit filmographies, mostly American with a few Argentinian and South American names behind them. This one grows with the catalogue, not with the roster we already hold.

About GayStarsDB

GayStarsDB is a database of gay performers. One page per man, built from what studios actually published: the scenes he is credited on, the sites that carry them, who he works with, and whatever a public source can tell us about him. There is no video here and no ranking of who is best.

Every profile passed a completeness check before it was generated. If we could not collect a bio, scenes, images and at least one connection to another performer or studio, the page does not exist at all. That costs us volume on purpose. Roughly a third of the men we hold scenes for have no page here yet, and they will get one when the facts arrive, not when the slug does.

Sites are covered the same way. A gay catalogue gets a full page. A mainstream site that shoots the odd gay scene gets a page about that line only, with its own numbers, and it says how much of the catalogue that line really is. Nobody should pay for a year of a site because a profile here made it look like a gay site.

Some are gay catalogues end to end. The rest are mainstream sites with a gay line, and those are covered as that line only, with its own scene count and its own last update.

Frequently asked

Why do some performers have no page? ↓

Because we could not collect enough about them. A profile needs a bio from an outside source, scenes from a site we track, an image, and at least one link to another performer, a studio or an award. Miss any of that and there is no page rather than an empty one.

Where do the scene counts come from? ↓

From the studio catalogues themselves, read scene by scene and re-checked on a schedule. We do not copy a number off a site's marketing page, and we do not count scenes we have not seen listed.

Why is a mainstream site listed with a smaller number than it advertises? ↓

Because the page counts the gay line only. A site with nine thousand scenes and one gay scene is not a gay site, and quoting the catalogue total on a page a gay reader landed on would be selling them something that is not there.

Do you take money to include someone? ↓

No. Some links to paysites are affiliate links and they pay for the hosting, but they decide nothing about who gets a profile or what a page says.
